TIME zone SY-TIMLO

Hi all,

I have one requirement that in the output of script the user wants the " LOCAL TIME OF THE USER " so i used the System variable as " SY-TIMLO" it is working fine in the Testing server but not working in Production server.

What will be the Route Cause for this ..Sap has given some Exceptions as below:

Date and time, local time for user

Local time, based on the local time zone of the user.

Notes

In the following cases, the local time cannot be calculated:

The time zone has not been entered in the user master record

The time zone in the user master record is invalid

The time zones are inactive (table TTZCU).

If this happens, the system time (SYST-UZEIT) is returned.

But i checked above one everything is fine but still not getting in production..

Kindly let us know the Route cause for this..

Did you check the user defaults in both the environment.

Ask the user to check this on both test and production.

From the first screen go to

System--~~>User Profile~~-->Own Data

then in the default tab check what is entered under personal time zone
