Datbase table TE609 Maintenance

Hi friends,

In SAP-ISU for a database table TE609(MR Reasons (Values))

how can I maintain the new MR Reasons ???

when I press F4 in the EL28 and EL01 standard Tcodes those new

MR reasons must reflect in the Selection-screen.

There is one Maintenance view TE609T, I maintained the entries in it, but those entries are not reflecting in EL28 and EL01 Standard Tcodes

when I pressed F4 Help.

Please guide me in this...

Hi,

Check this out.

MR Reason field on transaction EL28 is derieved out of domain ABLESGRE.

If you go to SE11 and check Domain values you can find some values maintained there.

In my system ECC6.0 i can see following values:

01 Periodic meter reading

02 Interim meter reading with billing

05 Service territory transfer with billing

08 Meter reading upon technical installation

09 Interim meter reading

10 Control reading

I am not sure how will new valus can be added to this as this is standard domain.

Might be some customization is needed.

Hi Agasti Kale,

In my SAP ECC 6.0 system, I can See the same MR reasons in the Domain Value (01, 02, 05, 08, 09, 10).

If we maintain the required new MR reasons(98,99) as Domain Value, then can we get those entries in the EL28 Tcode when we go for F4 ??

and do the system allow me to go furthur for working on the New Meter Reading Reasons entered ?

98 EBT MROu2013Specified Meter Reading Date

and 99 EBT MRO

Sorry, I have no idea regarding this transaction and its cababilities.

I just debugged for the issue for limited values and answered your query based on the same.

There must be config setting for this. Try your luck consulting functional guys..

You cannot go and directly add values there as its standard SAP Domain..

If somehow you managed to add values (with SAP authorization access key..), definitely you will get those values in EL28 with F4 and you might be able to work ahead with your new values, provided that those are valid.

Hi,

Even if we are getting the new reasons through F4 Help, in the transaction EL01, when executing it's giving error " Meter reading reason is not permitted".

Can you suggest what else need to be done.
