Making attachment read only

I have created an attachment using GOS. I want the attachment to be non modifiable and should not be deleted.

I can return the attachment through BAPI_REL_GETRELATIONS.

How can I manipulate it so that it is non modifiable and can not be deleted.

Sorry for my language.

In system 6.0 you can use FM GOS_ATTACHMENT_LIST_POPUP, for example. The attachments cann't be modified if set FM parameter IP_MODE = 'D' => Display Mode - no database changes (that's write in description for FM).

That's very simple method to give a chance for user to work with GOS attachments.

Also, you can use method DISPLAY_ATTACHMENT of class CL_GOS_DOCUMENT_SERVICE. This method run service "Display" directly and give no chance to edit/delete attachment.

Hi,

Can you explain more on what you mean by signature fields? or which fields did u change and pass to which FM? I require this as well but found no solution yet. Thank you.
