customer data in TCODE XD01 or XD02

Hi,

Can anybody help me why i cant save or create customer in TCODE XD01 or XD02?

when i click the save button, there is a message "Changes have been made" but actually, no records where updated.

can anybody also tell me why is this happening and solutions to solve my problem.

Hi James,

Are you getting any pop up message saying 'Update terminated' after saving the customer master.

If so you have some problem in Basis settings for updating the SQL tables.

You can contact you Basis admin to get it corrected.

Hi,

XD01 for Creation

Xd02 for change of customer.

If u did changes in xd02 message "Changes have been made"

it display.U can see the changes in XD03 or in KNA1 table.

may be in XD02 you are updating duplicate records.

Hi James,

How r u saying that data is not being updated? R U checking right table fields?

Check below things

After making changes Run the report RFDABL00 with ur customer number for which u made the changes and date on which u made the changes(Todays date). It will display the changes made i.e old and new values. If it is displaying old and new values then ur changes are saved o data base.

Also u can check the table CDHDR(Change documents header) by passing below fields.

CDHDR-OBJECTCLAS= ADRESSE

CDHDR-OBJECTID= BP*

CDHDR-UDATE= Changed date

CDHDR-USERNAME= User name.

CDHDR-Tcode=XD02
