Sending SmartForms

I want to send a PO on e-mail and uses SmartForm to generate a PDF file. Which program am I supose to use? SAPFM06P sends the mail, but only with the standard form, not the SmartForm. If I uses program /SMB40/FM06P it wont send it??

Is the PO premade smartforms based on MEDRUCK??

IS this a stupid question?

Morten,

Its not a stupid question. I think the standard one is of SAP Script.

You might have to develop a custom SMART form for the same and do the required cofig for the same.

u can customise the standard form 'MEDRUCK' if u want and put the name of the form in the configuration(NACE)..

else if u want to use smartforms for the mail, replace the program and form name( smartform in this case) , with

/SMB40/FM06P & /SMB40/MMPO_A respectively...ask ur consultant to work this out in transaction ME21N also.

Ok I only want to use smart form, can I remove the MEDRUCK entry in NACE?

I have tested your settings, almost the same as my own, but I have only tested with my own SmartForm earlyer (z_PO_company). However the result is the same, in ME21N message display, I get a red light after trying to send it. There is no error messages?? What can cause this error.

I can send form MEDRUCK if I uses program SAPFM06P.

ya i suppose u ll need to...because the smartform program is no way related to MEDRUCK... n in NACE ~~> output type NEU~~> processing routine~~>external send~~>try putting the smartform n its program there( remove the sapscript form n program sapfm06p).. FORM COLUMN STANDS FOR SAPSCRIPTS....

it all depends on wat program u ve put there..dat gets executed wen u give print command or external send command..

in this case, in me21n ,output types, u need to select medium 5 ( for external send)..

try this if it works,
