File Transfer from Presentation Server to Application Server

I want to send the files of all types ( like txt, Doc, Excel, BMP )

from Presentation Server to Application Server.

Is there any Function Module to transfer the file directly from presentation server to application server?

I tried with CG3Z but in case of BMP files it is not possible with that transaction.

Use FM ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_SERVER.

Try Tcode OAER, you can store all the sort of documents in this Tcode.

Hi,

you have 2 options :

1. To upload a file from presentation server to application

server we have to do the following :

a. upload the file from presentation server in to an

internal table using gui_upload.

b.open dataset

c.loop the internal table

d.use transfer statement to write into application server

2. The FM which transfers a file from

Presentation - > Application Server is :

ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_SERVER

You just need to mention filename with complete path.
