Hello All,

i am trying to migrtae QM data form SAP to SAP system also from Legacy systems.

Any inputs on how to migrate master data for QM.

What are the best possible ways for migrating Inspection plans (including master data like Insp characteristics).

Ps. Am looking for specific answers (BAPI's or Direct Input methods available for Insp plans).

Hi Mano,

You can use BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE to create inspection plans.

For distribution of QM data SAP uses 'normally' ALE. Have a look at

There are topics for inspection methods and inspection characteristics - looks like best solution to synchronize several systems (manual / BAPI creation in DEV-system, testing/checking, sending to all other systems).

Can you please give me some inputs on this FM "BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE" like which are the mandatory values i need to fill-in I was stuck-up with this FM in my data migration.
