Problem in create the Table Pool...

Hi Experts,

I am follow these steps..

Step 1. In the initial screen of the ABAP Dictionary, choose Utilities -- >Pools/clusters -->Create pool/cluster.

A dialog box appears in which you must enter the name of the table pool.

so in this field what i have to enter the name...

Even i gave the Name like "zpool or pool or table pool" etc. but the message appear-->Specify an active pool/cluster..

so please suggest me that what i have give there...

Hi ,

The pool / cluster tables are to be assigned to the Table Pools/clusters.

First create Table cluster or Table pool by going to se11->Utilities->Other dictionary objects.

Then select the radio button you want.

Then create table cluster/pool and activate it.

Now create a transparent table and in menu EXTRAS we have option to change the table category. then select the pool or cluster.

In DELIVERY AND MAINTENANCE TAB give the table pool/ cluster you have previously created. check and activate.

Check the table pool/cluster whether it is in active state or not.

Hi,

After go thru some steps whatever u suggest me.

when i enter the name of the table pool or table cluster to which i want to assign the pooled table or cluster table in field Pool/cluster name and also i know this rule..

Rule-- The total key length of a pooled table may not exceed the key length of the associated table pool. The key of a cluster table must correspond to the key of the associated table cluster.

Still now i am not able to give the name in field Pool/cluster name.

The message appear " Specify active Pool/Cluster "

so please help me...
