Hi,

As UCCHECK shows only static errors, to check the runtime errors I checked the checkbox "Display lines that cannot be analyzed statically" and found some warnings .

But When I run the particular program with Unicode attribute on, it doesnt give runtime error.

Shall I fix these warnings as there are many?

I would suggest you only fix the errors and not warnings. There may be some runtime issues that will be identified during testing and can be easily fixed.

One more thing.....how does testing works? After I fix all UCCHECK errors, I added unicode flag in the program(Se38 attributes).

Testing should be done before OR after setting the Unicode flag?

Also do we need to test the programs in Unicode system also once conversion is complete?

When you set the flag, and do a check on the report itself, implicitely UCCHECK will be performed. This makes sure that report is Unicode compatible.

So if you uccheck before setting the flag, it should work as well.

After conversion is complete and all errors have already been corrected using UCCHECK, this should no longer be needed.
