Performance issue with condition records creation

Hi,

I am using the FM RV_CONDITION_COPY, RV_CONDITION_SAVE and RV_CONDITION_RESET to create pricing condition records. I am seeing issues related to performance. It takes like 7 mins for creating 4000 records. We have looked at all possible performance tuning from COMMIT perspective and database perspective but the inserts are really taking a very long time. Can someone help me regarding this?

go to st05 and see the time taken by the insert stement

and again if it is slow then plz

refresh <table>

free <table >, statement to free the table from the buffer memory.

u can restrt the server if possible after that definitly the system will take less time.

Hi,

I'm not sure about your functionality of the code. There are so many processes in the FMs you have mentioned, some you may not require.

With these details you can concentrate on the areas where you can improve the performance.

One suggestion is that, if you have lots of internal tables involved, then free them wherever necessary as it might consume memory!!!
