Typically this means that you don't actually need the variable. Sometimes you do need it, but only perhaps as a field to select into when doing an existence check. In these cases it is valid to hide the check using the "EC comment. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;reward oints if usful,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;muralidhar.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; when doing the Extended Programming Check, for the report,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; i got a message saying NO Read acess for v_currenthoursworked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But basically i have assinged tht variable to a workarea.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anybody tell me hoe to handle this message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rohini,.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
