Problems with customer table

Hi,

After active a customer database table, records will be inconsistent, and a rare symbols appeared in se16.

The problem is solved when in se14 we Active and adjust database and force conversion, but this is a temporary solution because this table is often modified.

Other actions we make is deleting the table and copying it again, but the problem remains when we active the table again.

In se16 we have generated the program too.

Any suggestion?

Yes I do, and the new structure works ok, but the problem is that my table has a lot of references (programs, function modules, badis ...). This table is in the productive system from some years ago.

Hello,

I think we always have to activate and adjust the database table whenever we change the table structure. If we do not do this it will not reflect the dictionary changes in the underlying database.

Your answer is correct, but in addition I have to force conversion because data in database table were inconsistent after activing and adjusting it in se14. I can do this actions in development system, but I want to avoid it in productive system after transporting the table because I can lose data.

Hi Diego,

I have had this error e and unfortunately I have solved creating another table.

You have to ask BASIS team to delete this table directly into database and then create it again.

Hi Fernando,

I think your option is one solution, but the database administrator is in the client and he says that the table is ok in database and he won't to delete it. For this reason i want to find a solution from SAP ERP if it is posible. If someone knows another solution, any tool in SAP ERP to solve the problem it would be helpful.

I want this solution be the last option.

Finally the problem has been solved deleting sql package in database.
