Hello!

Is it to possible to do :

read * from xyz into

corresponding fields of table itab

where evdat in S_DATE

and in ialid in s_kat.

S_DATE and s_kat are select-options fields.

In not what is allowed in that case ?

Hi,

If you want to get data from database table u have to use select like

select * from xyz into

corresponding fields of table itab

where evdat in S_DATE

and in ialid in s_kat.

Hi,

read * from xyz into

corresponding fields of table itab

where not evdat in S_DATE

and not ialid in s_kat.

In the above case it will fetch all the records other than what you have given in the select options.

You would need to do this in a LOOP


  LOOP AT xyz into xyz_rec
    where evdat in S_DATE
      and inialid in s_kat.
    move-corresponding xyz_rec to itab_rec.
    append itab_rec.
  endloop.
