Hi Naresh,

 IB01.......................Create Equipment BOM (PP)

 IB02 ......................Change Equipment BOM (PP)

 IE01 ......................Create Equipment (PM)

IB01 and IB02 belong to PRODUCTION PLANNING (PP) Module.

IE01 belongs to PLANT MAINTENANCE (PM) Module

IE01 also contains in Production planning (PP)

Bill of Material (BOM)

Bills of material (BOMs) and routings contain essential master data for integrated materials management and production control.

BOM Categories

In the SAP System, you can use BOMs to represent different objects (such as materials, equipment, functional location BOMs, and documents) and to maintain object-specific data. Before you can create a BOM for the component parts of an object, the object must have a valid master record in your system.

Equipment BOM: BOM with Reference to an Equipment

The system also allows you to maintain BOMs for equipment (technical objects for plant maintenance).

Equipment BOMs are used to describe the structure of equipment and to assign spare parts to equipment for maintenance purposes.

Since these BOMs are linked to equipment, they are known as equipment BOMs.

IB01 is used to Create Equipment BOM

IB02 is used to Change Equipment BOM

Equipment

IE01 is used to Create Equipment

The business object "Equipment" is an individual, physical object that is to be maintained independently. It can be installed in a technical system or part of a technical system.

You can manage all types of device as pieces of equipment (for example, production utilities, transportation utilities, test equipment, production resources/tools, buildings, PCs).

Since many of these physical objects are managed as "assets" in Asset Management, the term "piece of equipment" was chosen for objects defined from a technical perspective, in order to avoid confusion with the activated tangible assets.

You define and manage each piece of equipment in the Plant Maintenance (PM) System in a separate master record and can set up an individual maintenance history for each one.

reward if helpful

raam
