IDOC error with status code 51

hai friends

iam posting matmas 03 idoc into the r3 system

it is giving the erroe with status code 51.

in error log iam getting

metirial nimber is not transfered.

pls help me

what is this error and how to resolve it .

Hi,

1.Check the Partner profile is gerated or not.

2.Distribution of model is done or not.

3.The meaning of 51--is application document is not posted.

4.Any status of idocs can be find in WE47.

5.I think if u use RBDMIDOC,then execute once again and check communication idoc is generated or not.

Hi,

IDOC status 51 means application document is not posted. It depends on the IDoc message type and assigned processing function if more information is available.

If it is well-programmed you can access the application log from the status record. This may tell you why the document could not be posted.

Take the partner of the idoc and go to we20 and find the process code, after that find the function module associated with that.

Go into the function module and check the code where exactly the error is populated.

in application log iam getting this msg.

No material number transferd.

IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 is the function module using for the posting.

so pls tell me error

forr all idocs iam getting the same satatus code and same application log information .

pls help me

Hi Srikanth,

Please follow this .

Get the message ID and message numer, search the Function module with the above function module .

2.go to SE91 ,use whereused list for the same message id and number , just put the break point . Goto we19 test ur Idoc now
