Issues with Transport Request

Hi.. I relaesed a task before activating the object. I activate the object again and a new task has been created under the same request. When I release the task and request now its been locked.

Here is the details.

Diagnosis

The object R3TR SSFO ZO_LE_SHP_DELNOTE is locked in request DEVK912124 of user SKUMAR. This request was released by its owner, however the release is incomplete, or has been terminated.

System Response

You cannot edit this object at the moment.

Procedure

Check whether the release of request DEVK912124 is still running, or whether it has terminated. If the release has terminated, release request DEVK912124 again.

How to get rid of this.

Go to SM12 transaction to unlock or delete the lock entry ...

Hi,

Release all tasks and request .Create one more request and add to it.Now it will work.

Reason for the error is

You have released the task not the request till you release the request it will get locked.
