F4 help in select options

Dear Folks,

I have defined an F4 help in my select options (Elementary search help is not available in the table.I have got the values through F4 help using FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST ).Things are fine but the values are restricted to 5000 entries.The table has 18000 entries.

i am getting only first 5000 values in F4 help .Is there any parameters needs to be set to get all the values ?

CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'

EXPORTING

RETFIELD = <name of return field in internal table>

DYNPPROG = <Report Name i.e sy-repid>

DYNPNR = <Screen number e.g. 1000 incase of sel.

screen)

DYNPROFIELD = <screen field name>

VALUE_ORG = 'S'

TABLES

VALUE_TAB = <internal Table with values>

EXCEPTIONS

PARAMETER_ERROR = 1

NO_VALUES_FOUND = 2

OTHERS = 3.

check this similar type of prob

hi,

create a search help for the field in SE11 . use following code while declaring selection scleen .

select-options : name1 for kna1-name1 matchcode id 'Search help name'.

search help without quote .

Hi Jagadish,

Try this

Goto SU01

in menu Help~~>settings~~>F4 Help tab

In that in the field Max. number of hits to be displayed give it as 0 ,

you can display any no of entries if it is 0

Check F1 help on that field

But i think this is user specific

Unfortunately up to this point, I am doing well. Only thing is, F4 is displaying only first 5000 hits.
