Barcode 39 problem

Hi;

In this smartform ZSDLE_SHP_DELNOTE i have this field &IS_DLV_DELNOTE-HD_GEN-DELIV_NUMB& that is the number of document. In other window i have the same field to display it as a barcode 39 (already created).

the field to display the barcode look like this:

&IS_DLV_DELNOTE-HD_GEN-DELIV_NUMB&

But when i get the printed copy and scan the codbar i get the number but at the end of the number there is a letter added.

80002002C ---> this is what i get instead of 80002002

80000994U ---> this is what i get instead of 80000994

and so on...

Where i'm i makign the mistake.

i think its something wrong with your printer..try on anotha printer..

Hi,

I hope u hav enclosed the variable in the character format which has bar code assigned to it...

Else check the device type whether it supports or not...!

Hi;

i found what was the problem:

In the SE73 Trans. i created a new font for code bar 39, the poblem was the "Mod-43 Check Digit" it was marked with an "X", i unmarked this option and now works ok.
