Creating Idoc for a material created

Hi gurus,

i have a requirement for every Material i create an Idoc has to be generated .So how to assign an particular Idoc to my Material.

Pls help me.

the configurations which we do for material master is below...we don't give any output for material master,becoz its a master data not transactional data..

For distributing master data like material master, vendor master, customer master we have standard transaction codes that are provided by sap.

Bd10(send material master)

Bd12(send customer master)

Bd14(send vendor master)

Bd30(bom’s)

The order of Tcodes are:

Bd54 (creating logical systems)

Scc4 (assigning logical systems )

Sm59 (rfc destination)

We81 ( message type)

We30 ( idoc type)

We31 ( segment type)

We82 (linking message type and idoc type)

We21 (creating port)

We20 (partner profiles)

Bd64 (Distribution model)

Bd10 (material master)

Ex: material master.

Message type: matmas.

Idoc type: matmas05.

HI,

You have to do the ALE settings for these.

Create the logical systems (for both source and target systems)(Transaction SALE)

Assign the logical systems to client.(Trxn: SALE)

Create RFC destination for the target system (Use the same name as the logical system name) (SM59)

Create the distribution model view using txn bd64.

And add the message type to ur view by clicking on add message type icon

Assign the source system as ur system LS name and target system as target system's LS name.

And enter the message type as MATMAS.

Save it.

Create port using txn WE21.

Given RFC dest name as ur Target system name.

Create partner profile using txn WE20 and add message type MATMAS in the outbound parameters

Here you need to mention the idoc name and port name and message type.

Now save it

and send mat using txn BD1o
