I am doing recording for MM01 transaction

I did a generalized recording for an material using 4 views

(basic data1 , basic data2 , Sales: Sales Org. Data 1 , Sales: Sales Org. Data 2 )

the details are as follows of my recording

matreial : zp_aaa

industry sector chemical

material type coupons

but in my flat file all the materials are not having the same views

some are having only basic data1 , basic data2 and some are having basic data2 , Sales: Sales Org. Data 1 and some alll the foue views etc)

when i am doing the data transfer only the materials having all the four views values are only passed to screen and for the rest i have to enter manually.

the flat file is as follows

zp_mat022 c coupons X X material1 ea norm kg

zp_mat023 c coupons X X 0001 material1 ea

zp_mat024 c coupons X X X X 0001 material1 ea norm kg

zp_mat025 c coupons X X 0001 material1 ea

so any one can help me in this view. or send me any sample code

Hi Prashanth,

I suggest you to do your recording yourself ... because the sample code might not help you because the screen numbers sometime might change depending on versions ... so go to SHDB transaction for doing your own recording as per your requirement ..

i just want the program for a reference and not the recording

i already did the recording as i mentioned earlier

one ,ore thing the flat file has following fields and also my itab

MATNR MBRSH MTART basicdata1 basicdata2 sales1 sales2 WERKS MAKTX MEINS MTPOS_MARA

Hi prasanth kasturi ,

Till now i have not tried this but can suggest you.create an internal table where it contains all information of the material.

create an excel sheet such that it also contains all information of the Material i.e( for example if material1 in excel sheet has no base unit of meassure then leave that place as empty and if material2 doesnot contains Material

group then in excel leave that place as empty),then in SAP

u code according to the excel . i.e if my cell1 data is empty

then dont go to that screen , if my cell1 contains data then goto that Screen and insert data.

Correct me if i am wrong,

hi rajesh,

i did the same manner u did . but ny data file is of .txt.

i am not able to pass the values for other materials which donot have a similar recording
