Background job for Uploading data from Presentation Server

Hi,

I have a program to upload a file from presentation server. Is it possible to run the same in background, if i schedule it is giving me front end execution error.

Please advise me whether it is possible or not?.

Hi,

You cannot execute a program in background which is trying to access files from the presentation server. It will give you short dump if you try to do the same.

The files will have to be on the application server.

In background jobs uploading file from presentation server is not possible because it will be executed in the application server, it doesn't know which presentation server it is getting executed.

If you want to execute in background then you have to upload form application server only.
