Hi Ravi

I am not sure about user status in PS, but generally System Status is controlled by SAP. You cannot change this, manually except by triggering the events required for the status change. User Status on the other hand can be changed programatically.

PS Help:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/04/926eae46f311d189470000e829fbbd/frameset.htm

PS Configuration guide

http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/500/documentation/J12_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US.doc

Regards

YM

please award points for helpful answers

Hi Yuvraj,

I am afraid that the statement you made, that the system status can not be changed manually except by triggering the events required for the status change, is not correct. As a matter of fact, the WBS elements are closed and TECOed very ofter programmatically.

The function module STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN is used to change the system status while STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN is used to change user status.
