I think that you could get away with 4.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes, just tested it, you can use a length of 4.       <title>Conversion error when transfering decimal values</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have to transfer a % value to a dynpro and I allways get a conversion dump.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The original data object is 2 lenght 2 decimals type dec, the fields are all type dec.  Do I have to define something special in order to get the fields to display the decimals(anything without a conversion dump)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or does anybody have a clue what is wrong.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thx.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
