Archiving customer master data

Hi friends,

I want to archive the customers for whom flag for deletion is set.Please guide me how can i archive the customers.

I tested for one customer using transaction SARA.

I managed to perform following steps,

1. object name : FI_ACCRECV (for customer master)

2. Then clicked 'Write' button. Created the variant with that customer number.

3. Set 'Start date ' as Immediate & Spool parameters.

4. & executed that job.

But the Job log for that job comes with the following output,

Job started

Step 001 started (program FI_ACCRECV_WRI, variant ZTEST_4, user ID MDT_01)

Archiving session 000007 is being created

Preselection of customer master data started

0 % ( 0 of 0 ) of customer master data processed

Job finished

Hence i am not able to archive that customer.

Please help me.

Hi Ajit,

After marking Archive flag then the customer should be set for deletion indicator. Now you have to execute Preprocessing job ( this preprocessing program will set customer for deletion indicator) then execute Write job.

Note: Customer should not have any open item.
