In LSMW I iam trying to upload data....

until 12 and 13th steps i,e

display converted data and create batch input session it is working fine....but when i m executing 14th step session is not displayed in the sm35........

points will be awarded fully

Hi,

Check out the session log.

To do that,

Start the batch input management tool: Select System > Service > Batch input > Sessions or Logs. Alternate: Enter transaction SM35P. You can display logs from the standard session overview, or from a special separate transaction for logs. The log functionality is in each case the same.

To display a log, mark a session and choose Log from the tool bar.

A session log contains any error messages issued by transactions in the session. It also includes batch input error messages reporting any problems in running transactions, together with the transaction and screen at which the problem occurred. Finally, a log contains a set of summary statistics.

but in log is showing message log w/ o session......

but when i execute 13th step......its showing session is created

hi both r fine ............it is showing the correct data which we assign in specify files........in display converted data......

u need to maintain the session...

if u r using direct input method....then use KEEP = 'X'.

so that the session is maintained and u can see in sm35.

if u r using recording method ..then there is a check box in 13/14 step ..if u select that the session is maintained...otherwise it gets deleted.

yes what u said is true..........even i have selected check box to retain the session........but problem remains same......
