dear sir

ur watching any command in dropdownlist

display name and also letters also

for example in mm01 command

industry sector: P pharmaceutical

and also

material type: FERT finished products.

how to change this type in normal view.

pls tell me where are the settings changed.

only view industry sector: pharmaceutical

and also

material type : fininshed products.

no before letters are displayed.

Hi,

From any SAP screen, click the "Customizing of Local Layout (ALT+F12)" button to the right of the "Help (F1)" button. Then from the context menu, choose "Options." On the popup window that then shows up, you should see a tab for "Expert" with a subsection called "Controls." In this section there is a checkbox "Show keys in all dropdown lists." If this checkbox is on, then the key values will be displayed in addition to the text description for each item in the dropdown list. If it is off, then only the text description shows. This is a per-user setting, but I think the default is normally "off." You might need to restart the transaction for this setting to take effect.
