Licence question

Dear Friends,

If a user has a 'display only' R/3 account and a 'Reporting only' BW account; will the BW account license be "Limited Professional" and hence the same as if they did not have an R/3 account?

should the BW license be multi-client because the user has access to another SAP system?

Hello Clive,

I suggest you check your contract and see what kind of licenses do you have to use.

Basically what you should do is classify all users in all systems according to there accesses and once you have them, merge all data using the transaction LICENSE_ADMIN. That will give you a list of all the users and all systems and the license to pay for each.
