System Landscape?

Hi All,

Please help me with the complete process flow of how we transfer objects from one server (development-quality-production) to other with their transaction codes and the steps that we need to follow in each of these servers as developers?

Also what is the transaction code which is used to copy a script from one client to another and how do we transfer smartforms and scripts from one server to the other?

When we create a table maintenance generator what are the precuations that we have to take after creating entries using it?

HI,

U have to attach the objects with the request and release the request first from dev to quality and then if its ok in quality transfer to production....

request is created using tcode se01 or se09

release using se01

request is transported using tcode stms_import

Are these transactions also available in quality servers for us to transfer it from quality to production.

Hi MD,

Table Maintenance Generator (TMG) is a tool which is used to create a equipment by which customized tables created by end users can be changed as required,such as making an entry to that table,deleating an entry etc.

SM30 is the transaction code to create table maintenance generator.

Go to SE11, give the table name and click on change. Then Go to utilities--> Table

maintenance generator.

In the table maintenance generator screen, we should give Authorization Group,

Function Group name (Function Group name can be same as table name),

Maintenance type can be one step or two step, usually we will create with one

step. we should give maintenance screen number. After clicking on create button,

a table maintenance generator will be created.

To check it go to SM30 . In SM30, we find display, Maintain options.

We can view the table contents by choosing Display and we can create table

Hi,

To release from Devolopment to Quality Use TCODE SE10.

Give your user Name and press display.

It will show all the request associated with the user.

Right click on the request and press Release Directly.

Then it will be transported to the Server which is configured by basis guys.

Hi,

There is program RSTXFCPY.

Or u can do one thing save the smartform or SAPscript in One transport Request and Press SCC1 transaction. Give the Source client and Transport request There.

Hi,

Problem is if u change the structure or tables(Append any field) then u have to recreate the table maintainence generator other wise u will get error.
