Reading file names from application server

Hi,

I am using the function module "EPS_GET_DIRECTORY_LISTING" to get the list of files in a folder on the application directory. How ever i am not able to achieve this. Can any one tell me if this function module is used to get the list of files only from a particular directory or can file names from any directory on the application be got ?

Use FM RZL_DIR_READ instead. its easy and effective to use.

FILE_GET_NAME_USING_PATH,

EPS_GET_DIRECTORY_LISTING

/SAPDMC/LSM_F4_FRONTEND_FILE

OPEN DATASET <Path / filename> FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE...

if sy-subrc eq 8, then the file does not exist on the application server.
