Configurable items in BAPI

Hi,

Urgent help needed..please help..

I am trying to use BAPI_INQUIRY_CREATEFROMDATA2 to create an Inquiry with a material which has configurable items. In the bapi documentation, its mentioned that 'If you are dealing with configurable items, you must enter the configuration data in the INQUIRY_CFGS_REF, INQUIRY_CFGS_INST, INQUIRY_CFGS_PART_OF and INQUIRY_CFGS_VALUE tables.'

I am not sure how to fill these table with the configurable items. If any one can tell me how these tables needs to be filled, it will be a great help..

HI,

you have to go to all structure defibed in BAPI and refer all the fields.....if have sample material master BAPI if you want i can Provide...for Sample

Thanks for the reply. I looked into all those structures. But I don't understand \the fields given in those structures. All the fields seems to be generic in all the structures except INQUIRY_CFGS_VALUE. In INQUIRY_CFGS_VALUE, I could fill all the characteristics/configuration names and values. I am not sure what should I fill in the other structures (INQUIRY_CFGS_REF, INQUIRY_CFGS_INST, INQUIRY_CFGS_PART_OF). Could you kindly help me in this.
