Hi,

Wanted to know if we can have a data transfer (call transaction or sessions method), where we can pass records of data with different view for different records. Ex: we are uploading material master using MM01. If our flat file has data records such that the first record requires few fields from basic data 1 and some other record requires some fields from basic data 2.. like that.

In a nutshell, the fields to be updated for all the records are not uniform. So how to handle this in recording.

Ahmed,

How do u take care of the recording part. i.e dynamically recording fields based on the data in your flat file as the records in ur flat file have got different fields to be uploaded.

I am talking of a scenario where you have only one flat file.

Moreover can we have an internal table where the data is dynamic in nature, that is the data fields and their length

are not uniform. Can we have an internal table where in some records have 10 fields while some may have 20 or 25
