In creating a dialogue program in a 4.7 environment, graphical editor, I couldn't figure out how to put in table control columns manually. So I decided to switch from graphical editor back to classic. I got the table control columns and headings defined. Then I noticed a button on the right side of the screen. I can't remember what it said, but I thought must be something table control related so I clicked on it. It changed my classic editor to a different format of what I would also call a classic editor, just not very user friendly. Now I can not get back to the table control screen, and it seems that the editor is changed, not only for me, but for everyone working in the system. When I change back to the graphical editor, it is also changed somewhat in appearance.

Can anyone tell me how to change back to the proper classic editor?

In your 4.7 Gui in the top right hand corner, is there an icon with several vertical lines in different colours? Have you tried to left click that? Could the option WYSIWYG ticked? If it is, then try clicking this off and seeing if this works.

Regards

Larissa

Thank you Larissa, however when I left click on that icon, I don't see a WYSIWIG option. I see an 'Activate GUIXT' option that is always checked on. The WYSIWIG screen painter seems to work ok, it is the older, classic editor that I go to for some maintenance reasons that is showing up as a plain, hard pop box (say the attribute box). It used to show up as a more rounded, soft cornered, more up-to-date looking box. I have managed to complete the development that I was working on at the time, but never have figured out how to change this back.

Thanks and best regards,

Deanna

The wysiwyg option only occurs in screen painter (SE51) so maybe try in there.

Maybe there is a problem with my GUI, but even on SE51, and editing a screen, I do not see the WYSIWYG option! Only 'Activate GUIxt'.

It was an excellent thought though.

Regards,

Deanna
