i am looking for fuction module which displays open purchase orders or purchase order history

Rajani,

As such there is no status which tells you whether a PO is open or not. You can find the history of a PO from the table EKBE.

Not sure what exactly is your requirement.

For PO History -

ME_READ_HISTORY .

For open PO -

see transaction ME2M with scope of list "%DUE".
