Bapi to simulate outbound delivery creation

Hi All,

I would like to know if there is any BAPI which can simulate the outbound delivery creation.

For eq. BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE exists to simulate sales order

I don't think this is a very common scenario and am not aware of any designated simulation BAPIs. It may not be entirely kosher but the way some companies do "simulation" is just call regular creation BAPI and then don't COMMIT. Don't forget the ROLLBACK, of course.

Although, quite honestly, I'm not sure why you'd need it for delivery creation. What would that achieve? I can understand PGI but creation is pretty straightforward.

Simulation makes sense for the sales order because a lot of information gets determined at that point (ATP, pricing, etc.). Not the case for delivery.
