Problem with search help

Hi,

I have a field of length 1 character in my table .I have attached a seach help to it .

This field is also a field in an editable alv .

After attaching the search help for the field and then executing the report , I do not see my search help in the editable alv .

Please could someone tell me what could be the reason for this .

Hi Sushsanth,

Are you working ALV in ALV Function modules or ALV methods.

For ALV Methods refer to the report name BCALV_EDIT_02.

Hi,

In the field-catalog , include f4_available= 'X' for the field for which you want the search help.

This might help.
