About Code Page

Hi all,

i am using 1504 code page in ws_download. After downloading the file if i open that file in excel i am not getting the proper code page. I should actually get 1251 cyrlic but i am getting some other (939 japanese). I have also changed the system settings to russian and i logged in sap thru RU only. Can any one give me some solution regarding this.

Check the properties of XLS cell, I think becasue of the cell format setting, you are not able to see the correct values in the XLS document.

i feel it is some thing related to WAS ....

if i am correct, nothing to do with excel cells...
