Hello friends,

I was wondering if there is any message type for Infor record.

I am moving Info records from one SAP to a different SAP using ALE, Idocs.

I have done this for material master using MATMAS and was sucessful so want to implent the same to Info record

ANy suggestions.

why don't you extend your matmas idoc to accomodate info records?

say for example. if you want send customer material info records

then extend the matmas with structure KNMT and find an user exit and call fm RV_CUSTOMER_MATERIAL_READ and fill up the extened segment and send

I don't have no info is there any specific message type available to send material info records

Thanks ARS for the suggesion.

However I have already Uploaded the materials as I was unaware of the fact that both could be done at once.

How would I do it now.

As material already uploaded , I think you are going do this for one time load or it is online.?

If it is a one time load, then get it by a flat file and update using BDC for ME11 or ME12. I could not find any direct bapi's or fm for this.

If you are in SE37 put * INFORECORD* and press f4 you can find some fm but don't know whether they are suit your need.

This is only suggestion.

I would suggest using LSMW as an easy solution. All that would be required is a report program for downloading the inforecords to a file as per mapping and uploading from LSMW using available DI program.
