Regarding workflow error

Hi Experts,

Iam using the method " SENDTASKDESCRIPTION " which is in the standard object " SELFITEM ".But at runtime am getting the following exception ::

SEND

IF_SWF_UTL_MAIL~SEND

exception occurred .

Will you please help me to solve this.It is very urgent.

Are you sure that:

Have assigned agents?

if so what ais the agent u assigned?

Are the agents assigned are Valid?
