Select data that meet the condition

Greeting All,

I would like to seek for your assistance on below conditions. Below are the sample of my requirement. Appreciate you can guide me the way to retrieve the data that meet the folowing conditions with example of code provided. Thanks in advance.

1) Table: Stude1

Condition:

Stude1-Student_ID = Student_ID entered in selection criteria

Stude1-Student_Name = Student_Name entered in selection criteria

Select:

Stude1-Student_Name

Stude1-StudentCourse

if studentCourse not found.

Error Message display "Studentcourse not found".

If Found, perform next step.

2 a)obtain the Course Details (SubjectName and SubjectDuration) that will be processed by the program

b)obtain the intercollege course details of the to be processed course details.

Below is the process to get the intercollege SubjectName and intercollege SubjectDuration.

Process to get the intercollege SubjectName

Table: CourseTable

Condition:

CourseTable-Student_ID = Student_ID entered in the selection criteria

CourseTable-StudentCourse = student course get from above step.

CourseTable-CourseTable = SubjectName to be processed otbained from step 2a

Select:

CourseTable-CourseMark

Process to get the intercollege SubjectDuration

Table: CCourse

Condition:

CCourse-Student_ID = Student_ID entered in selection criteria

CCourse-Student_Course =Student_ID entered in selection criteria

CCourse-CDetails = SubjectDuration to be processed obtained from step 2a.

Select:

CCourse-Duration

if there is no intercollege (SubjectName and SubjectDuration) are found. prompt errors message: "NOT FOUND for (Name of the subjectName and Subject duration)".

According 2 my understanding selection-screen inputs are parameters and u vl get only one record at a time.

fetch the student id ,name and course from stude1 table by passing the student number and name..

if course is initial thn give the error msg and exit.

if course is not initial.

thn process furthr.

here use JOIN condition on course between course table and ccourse table and also has 2 pass the student no.

I thnk this vl helps u.
