Select-option filed

Hi ,

If my slect option field have 10 values, if i want to fetch a particualr value....can i fetch that at the run time....because tempervary table of seelct otpion will contain onoy low and high values..then how can we get teh particalua value from there....thanks,

Use event statement AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR your_select_options to make this verifications and to get your values at runtime.

I am not sure of your requirement. can you provide more details?

If you input the following values say 10 to 20, and you want to determine the value 13, then i think that is not possible.

Hi,

If u want to restrict the select-options for single input value then go for the below given syntax.

Select-options: so_xyz for kna1-kunnr NO-EXTENSION

NO INTERVALS.

If u want to check for a particular value at runtime then execute the program in debugging mode and place watch points for the value.

Actual requirement is, my select-option filed will contain 10 values. but i want the value 'abapdev' at run time...how can i fetch that....

There is a icon(Arrow yellow color) at the last of the select-options. Click it and give your value at single value field. I think it will work now.

Your Query is still not clear... Not sure what your requirement is... but still I guess thats what you asked..

You can loop at s_field (Select option field).

if s_field-low = 'abapdev'.

use it.

exit.

elseif s_field-hig = 'abapdev''.

use it.

exit.

Endif.

I created one sample program on this scenario and it is working fine.

here i tried to delete few records of select-option.

APPEND s_matnr.

s_matnr-low = '000000000000000003'.
APPEND s_matnr.

s_matnr-low = '000000000000000004'.
APPEND s_matnr.

s_matnr-low = '000000000000000005'.
APPEND s_matnr.

s_matnr-low = '000000000000000006'.
APPEND s_matnr.

s_matnr-low = '000000000000000007'.
APPEND s_matnr.


LOOP AT s_matnr WHERE low NE '000000000000000007'.

  DELETE s_matnr.
