change document for HR data

Hi All,

I have a requirement in which we need to get the changes happening at field level in some Employee related (like PA0002) HR master data. We have checked that related fields, in those data elements check box is not enabled. For those changes we need to create interface program.

I already created change document object in scdo T-code. For triggering the generated function module there is no relevant user-exit.

For this we found one way of keeping the event trigger at database table level, and we found that we need to keep the form routine AB. But we don’t have any idea about the process methodology.

Could you please tell me how to write the code in that related process routines in the standard tables? Or if there is another way is available to trap the changes at field level.

Hi,

You can use program 'RPUAUD00' which gives the log of all the infotype record changes.

Here you will get the changes first at infotype record level, then at field level (i.e with old values & new value's).

Check the documentation of the program for further details.

Hi Srinivas,

If you want to add code for perticular table then you can use SE54 transaction.

But there will be easy solution for your problem is PM01 where you can enable your field by modifying infotype.

Hi Shrinivas,

I tried to excute the program RPUAUD00, i am not able to get any data in that report. Is it is required to do any configuration to trap the data.

Please It is very urgent as we are running into a production issue.

Hi,

To ensure that changes to infotype fields are entered (changes, creations, deletions), these fields must be maintained in the following views: HR Documents: Infotypes with Documents (V_T585A), HR Documents: Field Group Definition (V_T585B), and HR Documents: Field Group Characteristics (V_T585C).
