1. what is function group?

2.wht is julian date formate?

3.transactions used for data analysis?

4.How do you transfer selection text always go with it? If no how do you make sure? can you? change CTS entries? how?

5. what do you do when system crashes when running BDC programe?

6. what is output determination?

7.what are application and presntation servers in SAP?

Can any body say answer these questions.

hi,

1.function groups:Function groups are containers for function modules. You cannot execute a function group. When you call a function module, the system loads the whole of its function group into the internal session of the calling program

The name of a function group, fgrpcan be up to 26 characters long. This is used by the system to create the components of the group (main program and corresponding include programs). When you create a function group or function module in the Function Builder , the main program and include programs are generated automatically

3.tcode for data analysis:

ST05:SQL trace

SE30:Run time analysis

ST04: database performance analysis

DB02: database performance : Table & Indexes

DB01: Exclusive Lock waits

AL21: ABAP Analysis

ST01: System Trace

5. generally in real time ,system does not crash,while running BDC programs.if suppose system crashes,if it is a call transaction method,than we have to do from starting as it is a synchronous method.if we are using session method,than we have to start after the data,upto it has been uploaded,since it is a asynchronous method

6.The Output Determination component enables you to do the following in the CRM online applications and in the Enterprise Buyer Professional Edition (BBP)

-to print documents

-to fax documents

-to email documents

Output is carried out based on the conditions that you define in Customizing. You can define conditions for each output type and processing medium.
