Currency field Problem in Module Pool

Hi Experts,

I'm using KBETR field in my module pool program in Table control, but I'm unable to enter any value in certain field,

it gives me error as below

Invalid field format (screen error)

Message no. 00084

Pleae help.

check the data type of KBETR field and also check which value you r passing to this field.

Hi Abhishek,

Check your field definition in layout whether the field format is Currency and also reference field is mentioned for the same as CUKY or mention it as RV61A-KOEI1

Hi Abhishek,

In the same internal table as KBETR (an amoutn field) do you have a column holding the currency for this amount field? If yes, then go to the attributes or the KBETR field in the module pool table control and in the Reference Field enter the currency field name.

E.g. if the amount field is wa-kbetr and currency field is wa-waers, then put wa-waers in the Ref. Field. field in attributes.

The currency helps the system decide what is the decimal and thousand separator format.

If this is already done, then while entering data, try to exchange what you are using for thousand separator and decimal separator.

E.g. if you are entering amount as 1,000.25 then enter 1.000,25 and try again OR vice versa.
