adding a new user in Trasaction Code - OMT3E

Hi,

User I.D need to added in OMT3E (SPRO --> Logistic -General --> Tax on Goods Movement --> Master Data --> Assign user to material master screen sequancy of excise duty --> User screen reference) for activating 'CIN' subscreen for a user in vendor & customer master maintainance data.

In my company policy, customization changes should not be change directly in Production system -all changes in Production system should be through transport request.

Hence in our current practice, for adding a new end user in OMT3E, the new end user is created in Developmet & Quality Client & then transport into production.

Is there any other alternate to add an new user I.D in OMT3E ?

Your input will be highly appreciated.

Hi Sahu,

We followed the same process for adding the users in OMT3E, which is the same as any other change request.

BTW why would you want to know any other alternate way? Any problems with this process?
