Table Miantenance

Hello ABAPers,

I have one small doubt.. when we create a table and maintain in SM30.. after populating the table with some entries, again if we need to modify the table with some more fields, while activating why it says that the data will be lost ... click adjust or terminate... what is the way where we can retain the data which is already in..

any suggestions...

you don't have to delete your entries. You can just adjust it (without

deleting) and all the entries are saved.

The easiest way to modify your table maintenance view is through the SE11

transaction for your table. Go to 'Environment' -> 'Table Maint. View'

Go to 'Generated objects' -> Change

In the popup you can choose your options. After pushing the 'OK' the new

table maintenance view is generated.

In change mode table maintainence generator screen click on expert button and check refresh overview screen checkbox and press enter .... this solves your purpose ...
