All SAP components access this data. By integrating master data in central database objects, you can avoid data redundancy. SAP components use data from the individual master data records for most transactions. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Generating your company's master data in an SAP Best Practices system is one of the central tasks in the implementation process. The sample master data provided allows you to successfully implement the preconfigured business scenarios. The data can be imported into the preconfigured system using test procedures created with the Extended Computer Aided Test Tool (eCATT). If necessary, it is possible to replace the sample data delivered by SAP Best Practices with your own master data.
