Area menu creation

Hi all,

In se43 after giving id S000->Change area meny(f6) we will get option extend and change.Can you please tell me the diff. between this two option.

EXpand is used to expant only the nevigetion tree. So that you can see the child elements of each root or parent element. Ex: Under logistics there are child selements as Master data or information system. This help in displying all the elements.

F6 is used to change the AREA nemu.

Dear Ajish John,

Since S000 is a Standard Area Menu provided by SAP, when you try to modify the same, SAP would like to know whether you want this change to keep on going or till the next support pack upgarde.

If you select change, Next time when SAP support pack is applied by Basis team, these changes will be overwritten.

If you select Extend, SAP will consider it as a enhancement made by the customer which will be retained in all the future upgrades.
