text box getting disabled at selection screen

Hi all,

In my report , when i enter a wrong date on the selection screen , The SAP automatically generates an error about the incorrect date.But it disables the other two text boxes and i am unable to enter data into those boxes.Please suggest the solution.

You have to code in AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON <Field>

Normally when you entered wrong value, it shows other fields will be disabled and only that field will be enabled, this is standard process of SAP.

So, what you can do is correct the value or delete the value (Until your field is not mandatory )and put a enter.

Hi,

The system will not make these fields editable unless you provide a correct value for date and then press enter.

Validate the selection field value in

At Selection-Screen

event

it wont disable the your text box.
