Hi,

In fun. module WS_FILENAME_GET, i want to know the working of exporting parameter mask.

Tell me possible values for this parameter.

Hi,

MASK is a normal printout which specifies the files which can be selected.

Structure of MASK: ','<text>','<FILTERGROUP>+'.'

Structure of FILTERGROUP: <filter>';'<filter>*

Example: CALL FUNCTION .. EXPORTING .. MASK = ',.,..' .. generates the file selector mask with the defaults File name: empty, Save as type: .

dont use this function module this is obsulute, go to the function group SFES and then u can find the appropriate one.

hi,

WS_FILENAME_GET is obsolete.

Instead try using,

'F4_FILENAME'.

It will show the file selection pop-up box and you can select any file and use that path in the program.

In case of fun module WS_FILENAME_GET i am getting pop up window but i am not getting the significance of exporting parameter mask.

i never used f4_fiename, why do u think WS_FILENAME_GET is obsolete??
