Truncated data in ALV Export

Dear Expert,

I am using ALV to display Customer and Vendor records. But when I export the ALV reports to Spreadsheet, Vendor code column got truncated when I open the Excel file. Sample 0000410117 truncated to 000041011.

I have extend the lenght in the fieldcat table.

I am using funtion REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

Hi,

In the fieldcatalog, please pass reference Table & reference field for Vendor code.

hi,

Could this be a configuration error in ITS? In that case, where..?

Or is it something we just need to live with?

try changing it to wingui .. I don't rmemeber it ever worked for us with Webgui..

Also,

There is a known problem regarding exportation to Excel.

Try the following path :

Tools --> Macro --> Security

Then go to the "Trusted Publishers" tab and tick the "Trust acess to Visual Basic Project" option.
